On the morning of September 29, 2025, the second phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 13 (Tianhe Park – Yuzhu), the second phase of Line 14 (Jiahe Wanggang – Lejia Road), and the Guangzhou East Station of Line 11 commenced initial operations.


The second phase of Line 13 (Yuzhu – Tianhe Park) is 8.3 kilometers long and has 4 stations; the second phase of Line 14 (Lejia Road – Jiahe Wanggang) is 9 kilometers long and has 7 stations.
Additionally, the Guangzhou Eastern Intercity (Panyu – Baiyun Airport North), Paliant Intercity, and the northern extension of Guangzhou-Huizhou Intercity (Xiaojinkou – Huizhou North) also officially commenced operations at 12 noon on the same day. Baiyun Airport East Station is planned to open simultaneously with Baiyun Airport Terminal 3.

The Guangzhou Eastern Ring Intercity Railway (Panyu – Baiyun Airport North) is 57.8 kilometers long with 13 (including existing) stations; the Paliant Intercity Railway is 18.2 kilometers long with 4 (including existing) stations; the northern extension of Guangzhou-Huizhou Intercity Railway (Xiaojinkou – Huizhou North) is 6.4 kilometers long with 2 (including existing) stations.

The total length is about 62.4 kilometers, with 15 stations.

The second phase of Line 16 is 9.54 kilometers long, with a total of 8 stations; the second phase of Branch Line 6 is 4.95 kilometers long, with a total of 3 stations.

The total length is about 10.6 kilometers, with 6 stations.
